Well i geuss i like to save money and time....

If you use the AJE k member with the AJE LS mounts with the LS f-body oil pan and the AJE trans cross member then theres no modifing at all...now everything fits and its square and at the right angle......I just did this 2 weeks ago and about 3 years ago.. ...... The AJE trans cross member is vary sweet because its adjustable front to back.........

Why would he get the f-body pan when it don`t fit ?? But it might be one of the cheapest pans to modify .....maybe ???

You don`t want to use the truck pan...........been there and tried that.....

Now i no why i see z k-members for sale at a few web sites and i`m seeing z LS motor mounts for sale........guys are selling the mounts and making new ones so they can move the motor back...............

It dont fit in a Team Z K member??? I find that hard to believe, but you may be right. Unfortunately I dont have my car ready for this yet. My current Team Z K member does not look like the one you have posted above. the bottom bar you have looks rounded where mine looks straight across. Maybe its just the angle though. You seem to know a lot about the K member from Dave. Have you ever contacted him with your issues or just like to post what you have incountered on forums?? Just wondering.

I have no issues because i use AJE.....I do lots of reading and like to try and help friends..........Dave knows about the problem and i think he is working on it now .......He knows all about it so you guys with the z kmember might want to call him...he is working on new motor mounts...
 
What motor was in the car in those pics you have of his kmember? Will AJE motor mounts work with/correct the issues with daves kmember?

I think a 5.3..i will find out.....i don`t think anyone has tried the aje mounts on the z kmember....yet....i think Dave might be looking for the cts-v pan and the fbody pan now so he can make new mounts.......When he made the first ls kmember he used a Moroso oil pan.........So i think all you guy can spend about $500 and get that pan...lol
 
dave recently made some changes to the k members to where the fbody oil pans are supposed to work i believe
i could be wrong but would be nice if he would chime in himself

I trust dave and his guys work so im gonna go with what he told me to do. If it doesnt work so what. Try somethin else
 
Well has anyone called Dave yet ??? I`m woundering if he is actually working on new mounts or not..but he might still be looking for oil pans still maybe....I have a close friend thats in the same boat and he is calling Dave next week when he gets back home to see if he can return it........Something else i was thinking about was what trans cross member are you guys going to use ??? You can`t use the Aje one because the motor will not sit at the right angle......I will get pics of my adjustabe AJE trans cross member today if that helps any ?? I`m sure you guys can modify them to work maybe....i will get other pics also so i can tease you guys..... :)

Thank you Gary for the comment you made.......i have been dealing with cancer the last 2 years so i`m on the computer alot more....
