Jordan's NEW Mustang

Picked up a new mustang back in april. aluminum headed 302. it blew up blah blah ect ect. SO....
ls swap time!. So far ive sold 85% of all the sbf parts and this week i picked up a 5.3l lm7 from a 2003 avalanche. Mild built th350 & today i picked up a k member from dave. badass piece forsure!
My plans are simple. Just a cam & springs, some 243 heads and a vic jr intake with a carb. Project is moving along nice and im hoping to have it out early.
Today i started pulling the motor apart. The factory intake had a hole in it and at some point water got in and ran down the intake runners on the head. and you guessed it!!! The intake valve was open in a couple cylinders... RUSTYYYY. but Fuck it, $400 motor. it will be fine when i fire it up.

Thanks man. im sure its gonna be a roach on motor being set up for nitrous. But i paid 300 for the motor so im gonna spray the piss out of it lol.

I have a hyd roller nitrous cam for that, I should have specs soon.

i find that hard to believe,but we will see,but im pretty sure if daves product has a problem he will fix it.

Franks car is up there with the same k member i brought home an his ls fits perfect

is the oil pan hitting the k member (where the motor mounts go)?

You can section the oil pan if needed to make them fit. I haven’t done one personally but I have seen it done. One of my friends put a 4.6 in an early 50's F100. Had to cut it to make that shit fit! Just happens when building a Frankenstein!

If you are going with a f bdy pan Jordan. The place I found the cheapeset one is a place called "Superior Chevrolet Performance." It was under $175for the pan and bolts.

I love notch mustangs. I would buy one and put a LS in it too but there are just too many of them here in metro Detroit.

Mines a hatch, and their actually isnt very many ls ones out cruising around here. Maybe 1 ls mustang for every 75 sbf ones
