Jeep Cherokee stolen on Monday - Silver 2000, plate #5KNM03

My friend's kid's silver 2000 Jeep Cherokee (small style) was stolen from Westland on Monday. If you see a Silver Jeep Cherokee with a 5.9 Liter tag on the back, plate number 5KNM03 - Please call the police, beat down the driver, shoot the driver, all of the above or however you want to handle it. Please just help get this jeep back. (Westland Police Dept. - (734) 722-9600)

Car guys might notice the 5.9 tag on it, because of course the little cherokees never came with those. This one doesn't have one either, it's got a 4.0 but it does have a 5.9 tag on the back.

Seems like these have been a hot vehicle to steal lately. My buddy had two of them stolen while working in to Detroit in the past year. Both times they were found 2 days later gutted.

Yeah mine was stolen few months back right from my driveway here in warren. Punks trashed it and joy rode till the gas ran out and left it for dead. Got it back and fixed it. Cops said they steal these like its going out of style. Personally I have no clue why. For god sake its just a jeep cherokee LOL

because they are almost as easy to steal as a G body, and stealing a car is easier than walking
