My Jeep Cherokee was stolen last night in Detroit

I'm sure it's in pieces by now but who knows...it's a 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport. Silver/grey in color. Washington plate. A white old english D on the lower left side of the back window.

I went to a Tigers game a month ago and didn't realize I forgot to roll my back window up all the way. I parked on a side street, came back and everything was in the truck and it was still there. I was really surprised. Guess the newer trucks are too hard to steal.

there are a ton of resale parts on those and my guess with a washington plate it came from there and there was no rust on any body parts

I bought the Jeep here 2 years ago. I then moved to Washington for school. There's a bit of rust on the bottom of the driver's door and the wheels but that's about it.

The most fun vehicle I ever had was my XJ. It was lifted, but I still enjoyed it when it was stock. Toss a 3 or 4inch lift and some 31s on it if you do get it back. It will go damn near anywhere you want it to.

More than likely you vehicle was taken to push away other vehicles that cannot be started. They get pushed into an ally and stripped and the push vehicles usually get lightly damaged. It's a Detroit thing

I got mine stolen from the parking lot of my firehouse a few years ago. They popped the lock out, smashed the steering column & used a screw driver to start it. It took them about 20 seconds Lol
