BTW is there a new voice on "Mike in the morning"? I turned it on for about 30 seconds and thought I heard someone new. Then Mike started talking so I changed :lol:

drew had said there is no one other than skin that knew more about sports than he did. so thats something. ever hear the comercials that run on howard 100 & 101 by skin? they arent too bad. good sense of humor

ok but they wont be doing a sport show,unless they went to a.m 1130 ,who knowes he did carry mike for all them years

drew has said he will never work mornings again. that was his reason for leaving wrif, the other guys wouldnt stand together with him to demand a afternoon show. knowing that Authur P wont retire till hes dies on the mike, if he has a sports show it will be afternoons on 97.1
 
Anyone listen to Rovers Morning Glory? They left the aria 2 years ago. That show was great! I loved the dare Deeter segment they played every Friday.

97.1 in the afternoon never happen foster and violenta (Sp)have that nailed then pat caputo,and you have gator and karch in the 10 -2 slot,all have big time ratings

Don'T understand why mike never wanted to go to afternoon,with drew going thru his gf cancer and his back problem ,must of left him pretty pissed

I actually enjoyed that for a while, it was a nice change in the Detroit market for sure.
Deeter was a dumb muscle head :lol:
 
god i hope there is not ANOTHER sports show. i fucking hate listening to the same bullshit about a dumbass injury or omg the team is gonna suffer because so and so is traded. even worse is hearing about that fantasy bullshit. thats why i never listen to the radio now as it is.
 
Wow. I used to listen to them before I got my "Matt Stanford Ford Fusion featuring Sirius satellite radio". Since then, I think I've listened to a total of 10 minutes of local radio.

As for Drew coming back... who cares. I really don't like Mike at all. I haven't listened to that station in the morning in at least a year. D&D were good in the afternoon but didn't do so hot in the morning. Their blog says nothing about a return to work yet. I guess we'll see.

umm, the new PD of 97.1 is Triple G, Gregg Henson. and he hates caputo, mike valenti, and never liked foster. i believe gator is on the way out too. so i would not say ANYONE has ANYTHING "nailed".

oh and you cant say contracts will keep them on either, all 97.1 radio talent have a 90day out clause. means your off the air and we pay you 90days wages and health care. then your done. most have the non-compete clause too
