These firings have been going on and will continue to go on because a lot of the broadcast companies are tanking all over the country.

Too bad about JJ & Lynn. They were the only ones I could stand in the morning as well. I'm sure they'll pop up somewhere. For all the radio stations in Detroit (and they usually include AM stations), being #6 isn't bad. It's funny how quickly the website can remove all traces of one's existence.

Hopefully they won't ditch the rest. I usually tune in on internet radio for Pam Rossi's Saturday/Sunday Morning Over Easy.

I like all kinds of music and in the morning I usually listened to WSJT, which is the local 'smooth jazz' station down here (St. Pete). A couple weeks ago, CBS fired everyone except the morning drive girl (still fired her partner). All the shows other than hers are streamed in as a 'national' show.

Henson is pissed at most of those guys at 97.1 & 1270 because they ditched WDFN while he was there for WXYT.
 
i hope the next one to go is that annoying black girl on 95.5. she ruins my drive-in every morning with her whiny ass voice and stupid ramblings

She made a bad show worse.

I like how she can turn on the 'proper speaking' during the fake 'War of the Roses' pieces but still talks like an un-educated hood rat the rest of the time.

when did greg henson come back?? i thought he was in dallas doing sports or something. I like doug and gator, and valenti and t foster, but i could do with out caputo and fithen(sp). i listen to 971 basically all day and like it, btu i like sports talk radio and i could see how it could get boring talking about the same shit ALL day. i have sirius i listen to in the truck and it's either rap channels or howard stern..
 
Drew is the man, would love to hear him back on the air in detroit. Ever since he left the WRIF I listen to the 89X morning show. They are funny as hell and get away with alot. As soons as the morning talk shows are off I turn on Sirius. Regular radio sucks.

I've come to realize all morning radio in Detroit Sucks balls. Some are just more tolerable than others.

x2, she is a retard and should be working at a car wash or something. The ghetto accent is much more annoying because it's FAKE.

I stopped listening to 95.5 because of her....can't stand the loud...boisterous voice that sounds like they found her in the ghetto....."hey girl"...shut-up
 
I listen to 89x when I get ready for work. Only because I don't have a Sirius stereo in my house. I do listen to it through the TV<Dish> once in a while, but I don't have a TV in the bathroom.

I have Sirius in my Grand Marq and my F-150. The only time I don't listen to it is if I'm bringing a customers car in for service and they don't have it.

i think he is thinking of the wrong station ,could be wrong i cant find anything on henson return to the detroit air waves
