It's finally in Forza..... Forza players get inside...

I dont understand Turn 10. They add shitty cars like the pacer yet its a struggle to get them to add cool new stuff added to the game....
No 5.0 powered Mustangs (GT or Boss)
there are tons of other obvious misses but they waste programing resources on pieces of shit like pinto's and pacers. what. the. fuck.

Whoa who there, yer talking about my favorite cars there son! LOL I LOVE the variety of the old dinosaur cars. I agree a mod 5,0 would be great to build on but no need to throw us sleeper lovers under the bus. Besides, you have plenty of Mustang options. There is only ONE Pacer.

I think part of the problem with Mustangs is the amount of complaining people do about all the different Silvia and Civic variations that Forza and GT end up with and that sort of really applying to Mustangs too. I think there should be at least a new Boss 302 in the game as a 5.0 representative but you have to walk the line of having too many versions of one car and getting a wide array of cars.

Here is what happened the contact at Ford changed and the communication between Ford and Turn 10 kinda dried up.

Needless to say this is being remedied now that some new guy is championing the facilitation of the addition of key products. :jester:

There are TONS of cars way more deserving that are not in the game in ANY capacity then some of these obscure choices that we have seen lately.

I'm not sure what you mean by deserving. I love obscurity.

Why don't you compile a "Stinger1982 Pack"? Go ahead, pick 10 cars not in the game. I know what one is.

I realize that. I'm just saying Shaun is upset because the Pacer is on there but there is no 5.0 It's

The main reason I am upset is because these games are becoming increasingly important to younger buyers and they are an avenue that other car makers are exploiting to their advantage (BMW, Dodge, Chevrolet) and Ford is waaay behind.
Secondly as a gamer I would much rather see current and or cool cars be put in the game then old cars that weren’t very good when they were new! (aka Pacer). Old vintage cars that kicked ass? Totally makes sense and add them in! Lame stuff (this is a RACING game) don’t waste your time.

Anyway I am working internally here at Ford to get this situation rectified.

Well said Shaun. Jalopnik has proven how much influence there is as well.

I cant disagree about the manufacturer influence either. Cadillac has three V models and i bet the turbo 4 cyl ats will make an appearance in this or next forza.

I see your point as Hyundai tip recently Gave a couple of Velosters away, clearly a promo for the new Turbo coming out this summer.

The 2013 5.0 would be awesome. As would the Lightning.

I like stupid cars.

SARDEANIE Pack....

1990 Shogun
1969 SC/Rambler
2013 Morgan 3-wheeler
Audi Avuus
Ford GT90 concept
Dodge A100 Van
1932 Ford Hiboy
2013 Boss Mustang
SoCal belly tanker
2013 Viper GTS

Hey, I can dream.

The next gen Viper is going to be in the game this summer. Guaranteed. I also have a feeling the ZL1 will get in.

I'm disappointed by what the Season Pass amounted to be. Honestly, I was only remotely interested in about half of the cars that were introduced since the game launched. IMO, they should have released all the goofy, old school crap in an "April Fools Pack" and filled all of the others with better content. The Mustang is definitely one of my big gripes, but I'd like to see a few others in there as well. I find it funny that they've done an Autovista on the Viper, but can't seem to fill out their packs with sporty cars. It's a two-way street, but it sucks nonetheless.

Totally true. Hyundai, for example, was launching the Veloster as part of their NAIAS press-day presentation. It was splashed all over their 30-foot TV screens going around one of the tracks in Forza 4. And then, they gave away the Veloster in the game as part of the promotion. So yes, some manufacturers are acknowledging the importance of this sales avenue.

Chrysler does seem pretty on the ball with Forza, not just the Viper, we already got the new SRT8 Charger, the new 300 is in this latest pack. They're getting things in as the come along.

Also, GM and the Grand Sport Corvette right after it came out. Was that really a necessary addition to the game? It made a great A class car but it was just another C6 really with the Z06 and ZR1 already there.

Is it really Turn 10 that is to blame or Ford? I guess we'll find out if Shaun's work pays off.

Part of the problem is some people say ford got too much love from turn 10 by having so many mustangs from the beginning .... and their community forum shows people bitching about it....

Are the Fiesta, Focus and Fusion in the game?
