It's finally in Forza..... Forza players get inside...

Does it add something besides just the cars? If so, they might have me, bastards.

I believe 10 more races series in season/single play + more achievements to unlock.... They also said there will be rivals modes with Porsches.

Someone do me a favor. Go in to the X999 Speedway series and run the race at Motegi. Do the AI cars slam into the wall and take no damage? Are the AI car impossible to beat? I've turned the 127th ranked lap on the track and finished 3rd to the AI cars. It makes no sense. They really do just drive into the corner at full speed and slam into the wall without taking damage or miraculously turn without losing speed and make it through the corner. It's like a sick joke. Is my XBOX fucked up or is that the way this is?

I believe you may be way out of my league sir! LOL I"ll check it out though.
The issue is when they conceived the idea initially, Porsche could not race other manufacturers, so no multiplayer. Just single player world tour events and perhaps rivals mode. Turn 10 is working on allowing Porsche to race other manufacturers, but we won't know for certain until closer to the release date of the DLC. If it's single player only, I see no reason to purchase it.
Anyone else heard anything about that? If Porsches can only race Porsches, deal breaker. Back to not buying that lame ass shit.

Staright from Forza. This cars will be just like any other expansion pack. they are even adding Porsche online lobbies.

This is the kind of news that deserves to be shouted from the rooftops: Porsche is returning to Forza Motorsport! Today we’re unveiling the first look at the Forza Motorsport 4 Porsche Expansion Pack, which will arrive on Xbox LIVE on May 22, featuring content and gameplay experiences solely dedicated to one of the world’s most iconic automotive brands.

First up, the cars. The Forza Motorsport 4 Porsche Expansion Pack will feature 30 incredible Porsche models for you to collect, drive, and customize, including two models announced today: the 2010 Porsche 911 Sport Classic and the 2010 Porsche Boxster S. Seven of the 30 Porsche models that will be featured in the Porsche Expansion Pack are brand new to the Forza franchise—look for more car details to be revealed in the coming weeks.

The Porsche Expansion Pack is more than just cars, however. The pack will also feature 20 brand new Porsche-centric events to be added to your Forza 4 career, as well as 10 new Xbox LIVE Achievements (worth a total of 250 Gamerscore points) all centered around Porsche. In addition, players can expect to see Porsche models in the AI field when racing in events, as well as integrated into Forza 4’s level reward structure.

Upon the release of the Porsche Expansion Pack, fans can expect Porsche-themed Rivals Mode events and new online multiplayer hoppers dedicated to the dozens of Porsche models in the pack. In short, our goal is to deliver the most comprehensive and fun Porsche experience available in any racing game today!

The Forza Motorsport 4 Porsche Expansion Pack will be available 1600 MS Points ($19.99) and is scheduled for release via Xbox LIVE on May 22. Look for more information on the pack soon. In the meantime, head over to the Forza Motorsport forums and the official Forza Motorsport Facebook page to discuss the Porsche Expansion Pack with the rest of the Forza Motorsport community!

Not what I understand. From what I understand there will be some Porsche only lobbies, but they are not limited to such.

Nothing about that actually says that Porsches can run in the existing lobbies though, just that there will be Porsche only lobbies? Are there exclusive online lobbies for any other manufacturer (honest question, I don't know)? I had already read through that with the "does it say specifically that I can race Porsches against other cars" mentrality and I came to the conclusion that it does not disprove the rumor.

I guess we will see on May 22. Well, someone else will see. I'll wait until someone else has seen.

April pack
-2011 Mercedes-Benz #35 Black Falcon SLS AMG GT3 – Featuring a replica livery of a race-winning Mercedes from 40 years prior, the Black Falcon SLS AMG GT3 is itself no stranger to excellent track performance. The SLS’s distinctive gullwing doors are a welcome nod to classic Mercedes style, and the car’s deep carbon fiber splitter and low roofline keep it firmly planted in the present. With the GT3, Mercedes is poised for more racing success ahead.
-2011 Aston Martin #009 Aston Martin Racing AMR One – Engineered to take advantage of the FIA’s emergency efficiency-focused regulations, the Aston Martin AMR One employs an in-line, 2-liter, 6-cylinder turbo that produces upwards of 540 hp.
-2012 Jaguar XKR-S – The XKR-S is Jaguar’s first full production car to be a member of the elite 300 kmh (186 mph) club. It’s a strong road performer with a powerful engine and adaptive damping and stability control to keep the car stuck to the road. In all, the XKR-S is a potent mix of power, precision, and typical Jaguar beauty.
-1995 BMW M5 – BMW’s M5 line has always represented a full-bodied combination of power and luxury and nowhere is that more evident than in the 1995 M5. The quick-revving, 3.8 liter, 24-valve straight-6 engine delivers north of 300 hp and the 6-speed transmission was one of the few available in the mid-1990s. One drive is all you’ll need to understand why so many BMW fans wish to lead the pack in this 4-door luxury sedan.
-2011 Maserati Quattroporte Sport GT S – The Quattroporte Sport GT S is the automotive equivalent to an Italian opera. The Ferrari-built engine provides a concert of throaty rumblings whose volume and tone can be controlled via a valve-controlled exhaust. But this car can do more than produce an aria of exhaust notes; the Sport GT S is adept in the corners and no slouch on the straightaways too.
-1985 Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE – Innovation and affordability combine with this mid-80s rotary masterpiece from Mazda. The GSL-SE introduced the legendary 13B engine, the largest, most powerful RX-7 engine ever developed at the time. Combine that with a light frame and perfect weight distribution and you’ve got a serious performer on your hands.
-1972 Mercedes-Benz 300 SEL 6.3 – A beautifully appointed luxury saloon, the 300 SEL 6.3 also features a big single overhead cam, pushing the car from 0-60 in just 6.5 seconds and making it the fastest sedan in the world at the time.
-1959 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Convertible -- Named after the sophisticated French resort town patronized by the likes of Napoleon and Queen Victoria, the Biarritz convertible defined elegance and grace in the late automotive world of the 1950s. It also had at least one very famous owner: “The King” Elvis Presley, whose “Pink Cadillac” has inspired numerous songs and movies.
-1997 Volvo 850 R – While the terms “sports” and “wagon” rarely come together, they fit nicely when describing the 850 R. It’s the perfect ride for hauling the kids, the dogs, and some groceries around, but it also sports a turbo-powered 5-cylinder engine that tops out north of 150 mph. You might not need all that power on your trip to the local hardware store but, in Forza 4, it will serve you well.
-2012 Scion tC -- Functional, sporty, safe, and well-equipped, sum up the 2012 Scion tC. For 2012, the body received a much more chiseled look and, as with all Scion’s, the list of dealer options is very long.

It would have been so much easier to get Cadillac to level 50 Affinity if the Eldorado had been added sooner. When I did it, I was running out of races to run in Cadillacs.

1st gen RX7 is probably the best addition of the group though.

FUCK YEAH PACER! About damn time. Just in time for some E and F class event list racing, glad i've been putting that shit off.

I dont understand Turn 10. They add shitty cars like the pacer yet its a struggle to get them to add cool new stuff added to the game....
No 5.0 powered Mustangs (GT or Boss)
there are tons of other obvious misses but they waste programing resources on pieces of shit like pinto's and pacers. what. the. fuck.

Cant you do the 2011 4.6 GT and swap in the 5.0 cammer motor? its pretty much what the current 5.0 was based off

They removed the cammer motor from Forza 4

There is also no crate motor swap for a 5.8 either.......
This is being worked on though
