It's finally in Forza..... Forza players get inside...

I just finished my first race and went back to install Disc 2 and redeem all the preorder codes. I'm going to make a Motown Muscle car club now.

Edit: Alright, we need a name for the club (I figured just simply "Motown Muscle") but we also need a 4-character club tag, which would be like a "clan tag" in other games. Any suggestions? Once this is set, it can't be changed. This has to be numbers and letters only...no symbols.

Possible suggestions:

DET (I think some of us have used this in Battlefield...?)

Whoever wants in, just search for the club and send a request to join. I'll accept. If anyone wants to be co-leaders, it looks like there is room for 3 more. I would assume someone who plays the game more to accept invites frequently.

I'll take one of the spots. I'm on there all the time during the late fall and entire winter. I hate the cold - what can I say?

Yea that sucks. I lost all of my FM3 data when the data transfer from my old hard drive to new one screwed up. So it thinks I'm at level one.
 
Going from 3 to 4, you get a car for ever 10 driver levels you had. Obviously 50 was the most, so I think you get 5 cars for it. You also get to keep any of the "unicorn" cars (there was a list of 10-15 of these), or ones you got for sending Turn 10 your receipt showing you pre-ordered Forza 4.

So far I'm actually really enjoying the game. More so than I did Forza 3, and I liked that one. The only weird thing is the bonus/perks you get compared to Forza 3. It's the same idea where if you complete races with a given car you get discounts on that brand of vehicles performance parts. After about 4 - 5 races with one brand, the discount is 100%. I thought it was a mistake, so I went and looked in the upgrade garage and sure enough it's completely free for that manufacturer. I don't know whether this will end up being a good or bad thing because I'm not too far in, so we'll see. I think I would have rather seen the discount cap out at like 25% or something. It was more fun having to figure out if you were going to buy a new car or modify an old one...like the real world. Now you can upgrade just about everything at no cost. Hopefully it evens out with something later.

Right now I'm a level 9. Got a C6 Z06 and a 1M for racing duties, along with some of the carry over cars from FM3. The affinity thing is a bit odd, like RyeLou mentioned, as well as the turn, drift, speed indicators that pop up on the left in races.

I did a search for the club, sent an invite.
 
I'm installing as you read this. Cannot WAIT to fire it up!

I was level 50 and had a garage worth like $38,000,000......hahahaha
 
The discounts went to 50% before right? It's cool that they go to 100%. Before once you got deep into the game you had to do bullshit to make money to upgrade cars to fuck around with. How many "max effort sedans" did we all blow shit tons of money building? Most of those cars would have been free to mod for me by the time we did that and I wouldn't have had to hire drivers to keep running the same endurance race to build money back up.
 
Apparently you can only be in one club at a time. I figured that out the hard way.

I added the 1M, Miata, and SRT8 to the garage.
