Drinkin, drivin, and a plate surround that says "Hell yeah I Street Race" on an airborn car that takes some serious clowning to get out of sorts on a 45mph road.

If you were a cat, you'd have just used about 7 lives. Count those blessings.

I don't think ANYONE on this board coming down on him is appropriate. I don't care if you know someone that was killed; he didn't kill them. All of this 'what if' crap. He was in spitting distance of death.

He doesn't even know what the police report says.

Be glad you didn't hurt anyone, learn your lesson and move on.

And fuck anyone that bashes you for it.

So you were legally drunk and driving recklessly to the point where you sent a nearly stock Mustang GT into several spins and took flight and broke a telephone pole IN HALF roughly 10ft off the ground...on public roads.

Be glad you didn't kill a friend or family member of mine. If you did you'd never leave that hospital bed or walk again.

I don't feel sorry for you. I am however sorry that ONLY your car was taken from you.

Al, I wouldn't expect you to apologize. I also wouldn't expect you to come across as such an asshole. Surprisingly, you've fulfilled that second part.

If you went to the hospital and caused harm to someone like that, I would have absolutely zero sympathy for you when they hauled your ass off to jail. Pathetic.

I'm all for voicing ones feelings on a subject, but to basically wishing that he died... You are a real piece of work.

May you have an interesting life...

Relax man. There's no "what if" involved in the kind of driving it takes to put a car into a series of rolls and flips 10 feet in the air on a 45mph street. Think of Beech Daly, then ask yourself what would you have to be doing to accomplish that, after leaving the bar, the day after a board member posted that he rolled up and got out can in hand.

I don't think anybody, even Al, is really wishing ill will on him. I know I'm not. Just saying he was very lucky after making what logic and circumstance would dictate to be some less than ideal decisions.

I'm fine now. And I'm not saying that Dave didn't make some *really* poor choices. Absolutely dumb.

You can read that and take whatever you want from it, and what I get from it will be different from you what you see when you read it. I think it's totally inappropriate to say something like that.

Now you know I express myself the way I like, not the way others expect me to. I take nothing back. No one said you had to like, or even read, my posts. There's an IGNORE feature on this board you can fee free to add my name to if you so desire.

???? If I knew what fee free was maybe I would...Lmao...sorry back on topic.

Buttom line is nobody know's for sure if he was drunk or not. If he was then shame on him for driving drunk. If not then maybe he had a diabettes(sp?) coma or something...None of really know what happened to be passing judgement. Let's not make him guilty till proven innocent.....

murph

What do you mean? He posted the BAC numbers himself.

I'm sure the law will deal with him once he's out of the hospital if the numbers he posted are accurate.

I never expected you to take nothing back, quite honestly you don't have the balls. I figured you could be a man about it, incorrectly so. No, I don't like what you said in the slightest. You in summarization basically stated that you wished he had died in that accident.

It demonstrates that you have issues, and really you just have to be a tough guy. It's sad, really.

We all get lucky. Hopefully we learn our lessons

Ticket was for 47 over, weaving through traffic, expired plates, and no seatbelt. My attorney took care of the rest. I was 17-18 years old, driving my friend's Red LS1 6-speed Trans-Am back from Canada after a night of drinking. I buzzed a state cop at over 110mph while swerving through traffic and driving like an asshole. How I didn't get arrested or popped for DUI I will never know. We must have spent at least 30 minutes in the center median of 75 while we, and the car, got searched by the state boys.

You probably would have hit the pole at ground level if you didnt have such a huge wing on the back

Yeah Al. You can still be a 'badass' if you think about what you said and take something back because of anger

Lets say for the sake of argument that he wasn 't drunk or beyond the legal limit and take a look at what caused the amount of destruction shown in the pictures. This was obviously a situation where excessive speed was involved and something went wrong. There have been plenty of people that many of us know or had known of that have been killed or injured very badly due to either street racing or just plain driving like a complete phuck stick. There are so many things that could have gone wrong to cause him to loose control that even if he wasn't drinking the outcome would remain the same. Prime example was Tofi, a very experienced driver much more so than the self-proclaimed street racing guru's that frequent this board, and not even he (no booze involved) could escape the inevitable. The point is even without booze involved, the outcome would likely have been the same. Street racing, driving like an asshole on the street, or what ever the hell else you want to call it, is dangerous and sooner or later something is going to fail, be it the driver or a part on the car. Race tracks were developed for a reason. I can only hope that if and when one of these reckless drivers strike someone, that it is one of their loved ones and then they can live with the guilt, knowing that their selfish behavior for a whole 10 seconds or less of adrenaline was worth more to them than someone elses life.

FUCK YOU!! I don't have the balls?!?! To do what? Apologize for something I meant and have no desire to take back? Keep talking from behind your keyboard, tough guy. You're no one! I don't give a fuck if you like what I said or not, but rest assured I meant every word of it.

What's sad is your "holier than thou" ass trying to act tough by spitting out random insults to a person you would dare say a foul word to in person. Log off and shut the fuck up.

I meant what I said, and I wasn't angry when I posted it.
