Is this trade worth it?

Got a call today about a possible trade for my truck, I like it a lot but I' also wouldn't mind another 400hp srt4 neon. Ugh why can't I just have both! Lol
Currently I have a 2005 SLE 4x4 ex-cab off road/z71 canyon. It is in great shape has a 132,600 miles with about 3000 miles left on a extended factory warranty.

Car is a 2005 SRT4 ACR neon. It has 74,000 miles. It has a stage 3 mopar kit with a ported and polished head, ported intake, 62mm TB, ported turbo and manifold, bfmic, supporting fuel system, factory navigation, and all kicker stereo speakers with the 10" kicker sub. t-850 trans was beefed up to hold the power, also qualfe diff, has a 6 puck clutch and pressure plate. With heavy duty cv shafts too. I believe mopar coil overs overd with it but it currently has a eiback kit with all bushings replaced to poly ones. Also tekieco coil overs, full 3" exhaust, all hard pipes. Mopar shirt shifter, solid trans mounts It has a full fail safe unit on it too where it will kick you out of any mode that you're in or low fuel pressure.

It also will come with a 91 dynasty that runs good and it his daily driver..

I like my truck but its a turd and only like good. It's nice and reliable but boring to drive. I'd like a toy again but not sure if I want another srt. I'd love a stock one and be able to keep my truck but not able to do that yet. Decisions decisions. What do you guys think?

keep the truck.....get a fun car maybe when your ready. but, ive never cared for the neons, soo I might be bias
 
I had one before with similar power, it was fun because people look at it as oy a neon and not one that made 400hp. Like I said, if I could swing it I'd like to buy a low miles stock one for dd gas mileage and keep my truck. At least this one comes with a DD too, 91 dynasty BOI! Lol I've always liked the srt4s and wish I would of kept mine. But things change a d vehicles come and go.

Oh it will also come with all the stock parts too. And it was tuned by a local shop here, I forgot the name of the shop but I guess the guys pretty damn good with them. Idk. I'm on the fence. I don't have a lot of money in the truck, and I don't own anything on it as I bought it with cash. Just kinda would like to keep both...
 
How much is the truck worth as of current? What was the purpose of the truck? Do you transport large stuff every week that don't typically fit in a standard trunk/rear seat?
 
srt4 with stage 3 = most likely beat to shit since new.....just sayen. i dont think id do it. what a car is worth is one thing, but what a cars worth when you know its been ragged on everywhere is another.
 
Supposed to check it out tomorrow. I love the truck, I use it as a truck about 40-50% of the time. It's just boring to drive. The 3.5 is a damn turd. I kinda wanna turbo it or drop a 5.3p in it lol. And yea the car has been used like it was designed too. It was taken cars of by the owner who is a dodge/Chrysler mechanic who is the original owner. It's a 1 owner car. He says it used about 1/4-1/3 qt of oil every 3000 miles which is pretty standard on them. My old one did it, and few friends did too.

Idk I like the truck because it is more practical but holy shit your think it had a 1973 454" bbc in it with the MPG it gets....horrible! My ZR2 was better, and it weighed more and made more power lol..
Idk I'm on the fence. Wish I could afford both, either way in a year I could buy another truck or another srt.

I love the versatility and reliability of my truck but its boring to drive.

I loved my old SRT but not so DD friendly in the winter. Or lowes friendly. Lol

Someone build me a turbo kit for my canyon. Or swap me a 5.3 for cheap...

I've done deals that I prolly shouldn't have because I wanted the other car/truck

were not talking about trading a 93 chevy truck for a 93 fox body though...lol im just sayen, dont trade ur daily driver for a "fun" car......plus 05cesrt, you answered ur question above yourself, the neon sucked in the snow and you could just save up and get an srt next year. so you could drive ur truck all winter, and get an srt next year and get to keep both. just my .02$
 
I wouldn't do it, those cars are pretty cheap now, if you want one that bad I'd save over the winter and just buy one. Personally I'd find a different fun car though, FWD sucks.

You know they made 5.3L Colorado/Canyons, right? You'd have liked the LS2/T56 " Colorado SS" truck I worked on 7-8 years ago. 285/35-18 CTSV tires at all 4 corners and CTSV front brakes too.
