It turns out that the problem might be a bad MASTER/SLAVE switch on the amp. So there is either a loose connection there that needs to be professionally repaired or the amp needs to be replaced.

Have any pictures of the switch on the inside? We may have one here (I work in an electronics R&D lab for TRW Automotive) Have you opened the amp yourself?

I opened the amp up last night and everything seems in order. So, maybe it's something inside the switch itself. When we put another amp in the truck it worked fine.

Let me see if I can find a pic online...

The switch is that tiny black thing closest to the RCA plugs. How close of a pic do you need? Just an idea of size?

I think I just need to get this amp fixed by a pro.

The following pic is not a picture of my amp, it's just a picture I found on EBAY of the same model amp. My amp still looks brand new without a single scratch on it...

I need to see what it looks like inside, I could take it to work and look at it in an electronics lab. and test the switch and look for loose connections. We are pretty good at that stuff here lol

I live like less than a mile from you maybe tonight or tomorrow or worst case over the weekend. I have classes at MCC tonight though so unless you want to bring it up there at like 5 tonight is probably out.
