I can get anywhere from 6-8 or 9 hours of sleep a night and the next day I am either tired or just above tired. Not motivated or want to do anything. What do you guys do to get energized? Is it really in my diet why I am so tired? I don't eat the greatest and don't have the patience to make something good for me. Has anyone seen that watch that supposedly moderates your body and wakes you when you've apparently have had enough sleep? It's like $250. Would that even work? I just hate being tired all the time. ANYONE?!

not a doc but i had some same issue and my thyroid is f uped so you might want to check that out

I find myself less tired any time work is interesting... which happens less and less..

Do somthing physical.. your mentally tired and sleeping cuz of it but your body is never physically drained unless you run, work out, do some type of exersise..

you'll sleep better and feel way better

ever since I've had an office sit down job same way with me but i have been drinking more water and eating better. I've noticed feeling more energy lately

Start working out dude. Over the past 6 weeks, I've lost 25 lbs, my energy has sky rocketed, and I feel like a million bucks. Now I only sleep every other night!

X2

i haven't really worked out for geez almost a year now. (damn, just realized it :shake:) but when i did i notice that even though you hit the gym/run ect... you have more energy throughout the day. eating healthy throughout the day helps too.

the first couple weeks of a work-out routine are alittle rough but once you get past that its all good. the muscle pain gets addicting after a while. lmao.

I get pissed cause my arms arent on the same level as my chest, and I cant get a good rip on chest days. Man I sound like a meat head.

Your diet is a HUGE factor in your energy levels. Cut out simple carbs (white bread, white rice, potatoes, candy, chips) and eat complex carbs like brown rice, old fashioned oatrmeal, yams. You also need some protein like chicken breast, lean meat(not your boyfriend's) and start doing some physical activity like the gym or roller blading. You can also suppliment your diet with a good multi-vitamin and vitamin B-12 (increases energy).

It doesn't sound easy, but once you get into it, you'll never look back.

i love that feeling you get not the next day but the day after. lmao, you get alittle stiff the next day but that day after is where you have trouble doing anything with your hands above like chest level. getting dressed in the morning becomes quite a painful task.

Definitely start working out.

If I miss more than a day at the gym, I feel a bit tired. If I go a week, I feel completely run down.

When you bust your ass in the gym, you physically tire your body out, but it helps you sleep better. Better quality of sleep = better energy the next day.
