. I really noticed a big drop in mileage in the focus when everything switched over to winter blend. I'm ready for summer too.Not always. Ever notice how fuel prices can spike upwards within a matter of hours after the price/barrel makes even a minute jump, while when the price/barrel drops, you don't see it at the pump right away, or even ever. Supply and demand certainly have something to do with it, but much is political and based on futures. The fuel in the ground at your local station is paid for, so how can its price fluctuate so much, and so frequently? Producers can manufacture fictitious demand and control oil prices by controlling the supply. I'm sure there are laws against things like that, but I am also sure that it happens. There are so many variables that influence what we pay at the pump. Gas futures are an interesting bit as well - effecting price, supply, etc. I still don't understand most of it.
Anybody know when we'll start getting summer blended gas again? I'd like to get those 5+mpg back.

If gas was $5/gal I will still drive where I want to and where I need to go, fuck gas prices I was over them back in 2007
Again, it's nothing against you personally...I don't even know who you are. I just don't like when people are not willing to admit they made a mistake and when they've said that someone else (who was actually telling the truth) was wrong, especially in the face of overwhelming evidence. But yeah, made my point...you have a good one, too.
wow another political ploy. gas prices in 2008 were at the all time high of 4.21 a gallon under which leadership?
If you don't think gas prices are going to blow $4.21 away, you're...probably suggtt48116. $3.85 in Royal Oak this morning in February. Last year, between February and June the average went up over $.80 cents.
Now that gas prices are most likely going to cross the $4.50 mark this summer (in some states $5) the President, of course, has nothing to do with it! This despite his own Secretary of Energy explicitly stating “Somehow we have to figure out how to boost the price of gasoline to the levels in Europe.”
Fucking clowns.
