I don't really follow hockey but...

this is slightly confusing, are you talking about nhl given awards? because he has 5 or 6 of those..and was finalist for a bunch as well. in the last 5 yrs.
well yeah hes betmans golden boy, of course he always nominated or winning awards.....i know for a fact if they had the best diver award he would win that EVERY year

He has lead 1 season in total points and not even in the top 30 last year. Most over rated player by Betmans propaganda machine ever.

Watch the video of bettman handing over the cup to the wings...... He is pissed.

Watch the video of bettman handing over the cup to the pens...... He has never been so happy.

You mean the year he missed 41 games?

Since he's so overrated, let's take a look at where he falls in points per game all-time to see what a chump he is:

Rank Player PTS/G
1. Wayne Gretzky* 1.921
2. Mario Lemieux* 1.883
3. Mike Bossy* 1.497
4. Bobby Orr* 1.393
5. Sidney Crosby 1.391
6. Marcel Dionne* 1.314
7. Peter Stastny* 1.268
8. Alex Ovechkin 1.262
9. Jaromir Jagr 1.251
10. Peter Forsberg 1.250

Show me the NHL award for points per game played when you feel up to it award again.

A 1 time leading scorer and 1 time leading goal scorer does not make a carrer nor should it garner all the Betman propaganda.

The only thing I don't like about the list is it takes a bunch of pre lock out players and groups them with post lock out players. The new nhl is faster with higher scoring. I think that you will agree that the stats are a little missleading.

My point is that nobody is out-pacing him since the lockout.

And FWIW the highest people on the list were scoring tons in the '80s and prior, scoring isn't near those heights today.

Well they paid gretz to score and mcsorly to beat asses! lol. I think in the 80's there was more pressure for the big guns to cram in goals and supporting staff was to help them. I think the talent is more even across the board now a days. They also let them play back in the day! It makes me sad when guys like Mark Recchi retire, since they are the last of there generation. The mid 80's to the mid 90's was my fav generation of hockey.

Oh God I know. Recchi was a rookie when I was getting into hockey, and as a Penguin he was one that I really liked. It's funny that he ended up on the Bruins who were my old hometown team and thusly a team I still like. It's going to be a sad day when Selanne and Lidstrom go; they're 2 of the last small handful left now.

and he was 32nd, in points.

please find a player post lockout that has done what he has in the first 5 years in the nhl. or in their hockey career in general.

he might act like a little bitch and cry but the guy is fucking good, to say otherwise is because your a wings fan, or because your dumb.

Didn't you see? He didn't get any NHL awards for those accomplishments so they aren't useful in determining a player's output amongst his peers.

clearly.

the way he played before he was hurt he was on pace to rack up like a 146 pts or some bullshit like that.. it was high
