But don't forget, MVP or not, Zetterberg was stuck to Crosby for the entire series for a reason. Yes he did a good job shutting him down but he was effectively, ultimately, mostly ineffective himself. Just part of the game and thankfully the 3rd line spark brought their A Game in Game 7.

I agree with you, If I was as young with his skill level I would do what ever it took to sustain a future for myself. I actually think he was more pressured to coming back then anything.

this is slightly confusing, are you talking about nhl given awards? because he has 5 or 6 of those..and was finalist for a bunch as well. in the last 5 yrs.
