thanks guys the door belt moldings are now on and all the t-top trim is painted just have to put install all the t-top weather strip then i can finish the interior.i can only work on it on sundays way too busy through the week.

Most people who take on a project like this end up selling due to a number of reasons, shortage of funds, impatience, way in over their head just to name a few. I was motivated by the fact that both cars I had owned new from ford were stolen from me before I got a chance to really break them in. I also always wanted a t-top car and found this clean car to help me recapture my youth. Lol

by next weekend i should have the glass in and trim installed looking to powedercoat the wheels in matte black sometime this week as well .i am trying to bullrush this thing and get it done in time for the ford 50 anniversary as well as the woodward dream cruise.

I like the wheels chrome myself. Everyone's playing out the black IMO but I think it would look good either way.

I agree with you. I really like the look of black but I am leaving mine silver just because it seems like everyone, including the factory are now doing black wheels. If you leave your wheels silver or chrome you will be the next trend setter!
