take a little EK9 civic hatch, gut it, R comps and mod the shit out of the suspension. many of you would change your perspective on the cars.

nope. Civics suck not matter what.

I used to think EVERY jap car was crap, then a good buddy of mine got a 12 second evo that was setup for road racing and auto-x. That car was sweet. A car like that will change my perspective.

another friend Tyler (autoeuphoira on MM) had a 450whp Intregra Type R that was featured in Honda tuning magazine, The car did NOTHING for me. The power was un-uable, no torque rode like crap and handled worse due to inability to put power down

The same could be said for just about any vehicle on the road. Even if you did all of that stuff, it still won't make any torque.

its still japanese. No thanks. I'll take a European car before I drive a Japanese.

But American comes first, because that's where I live :gr_patrio

I have absolutely no problem with any car so long as it's fast and CLEAN. However...I would much rather start with a RWD platform that is already moderately fast from the factory than a slow car from the factory, built like crazy, to end up in the 13's. I know a lot of these cars are built for road racing courses, but hell man. We live in Michigan. Not just Michigan, but the Detroit metro area. I would rather get pinned back in my seat drag racing than smacking my head off the b-pillar skipping sideways over potholes.

YAAAAAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! Mountian Dew

if i want a fast shitbox econo car i'll get another dodge omni.

we were talking honda's, not actual piece of shit cars. :gr_jest:

the most fun hondas have stock engines. im telling you, mod the suspension and put some R comps on it. it would easily turn circles around your mustang. easily.

while that is true, and very common knowledge, again.....completely missing the point.

my point was that the cars would surprise you. they handle very well with very little done to them, they are bulletproof, and they are a blast to drive. i am also well aware that it's not an american styled car. many of you seem to be forgetting that. it doesn't have a V8, and rear wheel drive. which if you ask me, isn't that great to begin with. especially new ones. :) if you know me, you'd know full well that i think every car should have 6 cylinders, rwd and weigh UNDER 3,000lbs.

my point is that most of you appear to live under a rock. you really should be more open minded. :D

take your honda mod the shit out of the suspension and still get owned by a Miata, at the end of the day its still a civic

You obviously have not heard about the suspension being put on my new 5liter or the Hoosiers........:hitfan:
