You have the audi v10 that is 5.2l has 40 valves and only 450hp vs 8.4l push rod engine. we had one at the dealer and had to move it without the exhaust on it and the viper sounds like a souped up tractor. pushrod vs mod motor.

Could also be firing order and how each tube enters the collector of the header.

Have you ever heard true 180° headers on a Ford GT40? Has a distinct sounds for a V8.

Makes sense. As much as I like the Viper that engine just sounds less than attractive. And yes, of the new muscle cars the Mopars sound best.
