Had a 2nd smaller garage built...
1st pic - End of day 1 - After about 6 hours
2nd pic - End of day 2 - After about 7 hours more
3rd pic - End of 3rd work day - About 2 hours

Day-1 - s.jpg Day2-s.jpg Garage-s.jpg

I had the guys in the pic do all of the work. They did everything including the siding and shingles in just one day.

Is that a company or just some guys you knew? Are you happy with everything? Asking just so I can maybe find some new siding and trim guys.

Just to add to the conversation... a neighbor put in a 750 square foot garage...11ft ceilings.. and it cost him 52 Grand...with heat/AC/insulation.

Looks great!

52 for a standard 2 car? Did that include concrete? Wonder what were the biggest cost drivers?

Looks really nice. Are you going to put gutters on it? The first 16" from the ground is always susceptible to rot and you don't have a row of block or two from the slab.

Yes, everything came out nice and I am very happy with the work. I can't really find anything to complain about. Concrete was $3700 and the price for the garage was $8900, including doors and windows. They used a full 8' length 2x4 for the walls and when you add in the double bottom and top sill plates the interior walls are more than 8-1/2' and with the 5/12 pitch roof and 1' over hangs, the inside is very tall. I didn't have to do anything...I am having gutters installed by another guy who did my house this past summer. He won't be able to get to it until the middle of December. Those will be $400 for the two 24' gutters and downspouts.

I contacted at least 10 different companies. The company who did this was the only builder who actually responded. The other company was Tuff Shed and I was going to go with them until this builder responded and I found him on Facebook. The Tuff Shed garage was 12K and their garages look very nice, too.

So that garage was about $12,600 as it stands now? Nice!

Awesome space Gary! Is this just for cold storage or do you have any plans to finish the interior.......insulate, heat, water, electric etc?
