I had that happen one day driving to school in lansing, I was in the lightning.
passed a guy on expressway, he didn't like caught up to me, I took off, he tried getting in front of me and hitting his brakes, swerving lanes to avoid me passing him, the basic road rage shit. The guy flashed a badge I ignored him. I drop the hammer and left him about 1/2 mile behind me. He eventually caught up due to traffic
I called 911, when the guy started following me off the expressway. I went to the police station and the guy pulls in behind and comes running up to my car bitching. An officer (in uniform) ran up at the same time. I told the uniform cop this asshole was trying to run me off the road, flashing etc. and I was still on the phone with 911.
The asshole shows his badge and proves he was a cop.
I hand the my phone to the uniform cop, and he talks to 911 for a minute. the asshole says i was speeding not using a blinker etc. I admit to all of it as this guy was road raging and trying to run me off the road, I was trying to get away from him, that is why I called 911 and came directly to the police station. what else was I supposed to do?
the uniform cop hands me my phone and says have a nice day and begins to rip the asshole up one side and down another as I slowly drove away. the uniform was saying what if i were in an accident, he'd be responsible, lack of professionalism, no reason to chase me etc...
