Come on guys, not in here too.

I like MM better when it's all in fun, and no one is upset.
Besides...you should all be wanting MY autograph!

Ok, even better news...and more of an update.
The casting director called me again, and offered me a "seperate" part from the original I had been chosen for. This part requires more close-ups and face time. I have to audition for it on Wednesday...and if I do get it then I'll be shooting in Ann Arbor for 4 days as opposed to Brighton for one day. I'm hoping that I get it!
Wish me luck guys, I need it!
Thanks!

Beware the casting couch...;)

Will this 'part' have a line or is this just an 'extra' that is a lot closer to the camera?

Good luck movie star!

Lmfao @ the couch comment. Way too smart for that!

So far it's an "extra" in a cafe, which means I'll get more camera shots. They said depending on the Director, he may give us lines...not sure.
Once I get more details, I'll let ya guys know.
I just hate to say all this, and then film, and then it gets cut out of the movie you know?
Either way I'm super excited!
Thanks to all for the Congrats and Best Wishes!

Don't worry, your loyal fans will buy the DVD set with all the outtakes!

are u going to be the lil vailed arab girl that get picked on  at least the director understands your ethnicity and will let you wear your traditional clothing

I know a few people that have been extras in a few movies, and they were never in the final cut, or were out of camera view. Being an extra in a movie is actually a huge waste of time...wanna really act? Move to LA and start taking classes and start learning.

Not trying to be negative, just real.

Yeah right, they said if I wore it I would get removed from the set like Obama did to those 2 women.

I appreciate the honesty, but it's not like I'm dedicating my life to it. It was an oppurtunity presented to me by the Director, I didn't find him. Trust me I know how the world of acting works. Waste of time would be doing it and not getting paid, which isn't the case. I know plenty of people who did move to LA and aren't doing shit out there. So either way there are negative and positives. I also know a few people who were spotted as only an extra in a movie, and because the right person saw it, they were discovered, and got bigger roles....

I wasnt harsh or negative in any way, just being honest. If that's your dream, go for it, and more power to you. It sounds like your serious about acting, do something about it. Its not going to happen by hoping "the right person" sees you as an extra in a movie role.

My best friend moved there to be "discovered" he has yet to be in a movie in any way extra or not. His Girlfriend however is a devoted actress and the only role she has had so far was being an extra in a Soap opera and some MSNBC Special on Racisum and no real speaking roles.

Trust me, I don't expect a huge role to just get handed to me at all. My whole take on this experience is if I like it or not, and seeing what happens from there. I'm happy enough that it came my way, and someone saw something in me. Extra or not ya know. I may even take some classes, and talk to the right people when I'm ready to do so. I have a great career now, and it wouldn't be a smart move for me right now to just let it go for a "hope and dream". One day that might be what I have to do....I get what you're saying and didn't take it negatively at all. I look at all the sides before I make a decision.
