We never Dynoed the engine but that was a engineering calculation.

Also Ford motors cost alot of money to build. Compared to a Chevy or Mopar. They are All custom parts...and only a few people can get them to run that fast normal puffin.

Which this is why I started say about Ford engines. They dont make the big power without a power adder!!!:mouthshut

Now back to whats at hand...
You can take a 468 BBC run 9's all day long forever and a day for half the cost in a Mustang!

Now lets get to fast cars..NHRA Pro Stock...

Show me the last Ford Powered NHRA Pro Stocker under 500in that has even qualified in the last 15 or 20 years!:eek5:

How about Darren Mag's Mustang with a Holbrook sbf that runs in all motor
at Milan?
He went 8.38 a few weeks ago.
He went in the 8.50's last Friday in 90 deg. heat.
That's one right here in Dtown without any research.
They're out there.

Ok Look, this gripe started as I said that it would be easier and cheaper to build a BBC to put in a Mustang FoxB to run fast or faster and last a long time.

You are to first one to show me a "Ford Motor" that will run faster then 8.50 normal puffin. That is fast for a Ford Engine Normally puffin.:eek5:

But then the arguement went to what I said "FORD ENGINES" will not make any serious numbers without a power adder. :roll:

Meaning cars 8.50 and over are a dime a dozen. 800hp will put you there easy with a 2600lbs Mustang with a BBC under 500in. :rockwoot:

But....To get a "Ford Engine" normal puffing to make that kind of power doesnt happen over night and it really isnt a "Ford Engine" no more because it is 100% after market shit and cost value is some serious cash for the build and the tuning time spent to see the numbers!!!.
I mean we are looking at a $30k engine build here for just motor!!!

Our old gas car 3000lbs made of "ALL IRON PONTIAC" 461cid was running low 9's 15 years ago. I mean come on...Look at the technology between then and now and "Ford" still cant do much better???

Last one to do it was BOB GLIDDEN and he was running the Ford Hemi Shotgun which had chevy designed written all over it if you ever seen one!!!

Really haul ass on a 10.5 slick or a radial...

They are not light cars anyway you flip them....all of the classes that we race are mustangs in have base weight of 3000+ such as 10.5 outlaw and so on. you don't see any ford power plants in NHRA Pro stock because they are not allowed...lol And i could put together a bbf with all factory type parts such as SCJ iron heads and keep it under 500 in. and go just as fast as this claimed pontiac or bbc that you have no proof of ever touching. You are not going to win your retard arguement that you started because you have no clue what you are talking about and are pissing more and more people off with every post.
