GM to dump Heritage Collection

The only 4 door Typhoon I ever saw was a red rusty one. I just ASSumed GM had one too. :)
 
Do you all really see this happening?

I would suspect it would be big news on fastlane or leftlane, or yahoo autos, or something.

They would want everyone and their brother to know they were selling these off, to get the prices jacked up as far as possible.


I'm going with its just a rumor.

The guy who posted that thread was Scott Settlemeyer. (4th Gen Camaro project manager) If he said it it's true.

I have seen it all over message forums, but nothing in the news, or 'official' gm website.

I'm just a 'see it to belive it' kind of guy.

Just seems that they would want the general public to know about this, so it would run the prices up as high as possible, rather than posting this on some auto-oriented message boards.
 
why is this a bad thing? too bad the big BJ is going to make so much money off of GM it's sick for doing nothing more then giving them a location.
 
Sad to see them go. I had the opportunity to go there twice as an intern. They definitely have some neat stuff.

Its on Mound road just south of 16. Its right next door to my work. I remember they had that gnx outside in the snow once with some poor schmuk standing there brushing it off, lol

That is going to be amazing to watch and see.
I have seen a few but only a few of the wonderful cars there.
 
I'm partially surprised and partially not. They have one hell of a collection of automobiles scattered all over the metro area.
 
man that sucks ive been to the center its bad ass an the cars are like new its sweet as hell but a dam shame to see these car get sold wats it ganna take to get this econamy back
 
Any more info on the ZR2 or ZR1 snake eater?

There are a few cars worth some coin, but these are the least valueable cars that GM is willing to give up. Hell they don't even have a GNX for sale.

imagine if they put up a Firebird concept. That would be worth watching BJ for. The bidding for that would go for a while.

That is where they have the cars that are on display. They have a few warehouses that store the rest of them.
