Girlfriends 1st offense DUI in Novi- what may happen

i didnt get a lawyer when i got mine in new baltimore and it cost me 1300 in impound and fines and now i have to pay 500 per year in driver responsibilty fees for two years

i blew .088, .09, .09, plus they dropped another pretty serious offense... all in all i got away with an impaired driving

I guess it also shows how serious her
offense is & how DUI is not funny in any
way whatsoever! My grandparents were
both killed by a drunk driver, so I'm too
one of those that hopes she learns a
lesson before she kills someone.

Sorry about some possible wrong info, but the piece of paper from the Novi police says she was arrested for OWI, not DUI. Does that make a difference.
 
oui is above an impaired which it will probably get knocked down to and below a dui... they just changed the law on the fines so she is probably going to have to pay out the ass... mine was dropped down but i had to still pay the fines from the original charge

There are two things MM is really good at...asking for nudes, and talking shit about someone when they do something stupid. I think the nude requests just were pushed aside to talk shit.
 
OWI= operating while intoxicated- u were over the .08 limit
OWVI= operating while visual impaired- u were under the limit but you were a risk on the road.
Michigan is very politcal on the OWI subject. She is being charged with "super drunk" law an the best she might get is fines an fees of a standard OWI. Buddy of mine just got hit with super drunk to an his lawyer said he is screwed an he had a very clean record to.

Info on the OWI an other stuff in Michigan just to prepare her.

, I heard novi lets drunk drivers off light all the time, hope she likes orange jump suits and picking up trash. A judge in Novi gave a shoplifter 1 year in jail for his first offense
 
They just featured the female judge in novi on the news not long ago. She nails DUI offenders hard! Bottom line. She drank she drove she got caught Could have been worse if she hurt herself or someone else
 
We had a judge in port Huron that got busted TWICE! An she still had a job as a judge an hammered OWI cases with everything she could! She even had to wear a alcohol tether on her ankle for 6 months! Judge platzer is her name an no she got moved to marine cities court house

Its ok..... I believe my ticket said OWI, which is what they told me drunk driving is now called? Either way, I meant to say that it was knocked to Impaired driving.
 
don't forget about her personal car insurance.that should more than double and if the electrical company's insurance carrier finds this out, which no doubt they will, she might even lose her job!!!

I had state farm and I was dropped... AAA, state farm, all state will not cover a DUI for 5 years. I had to switch to progressive. However, my car insurance did not double, it actually didn't increase it too much. I talked to a person in P&C and they said a speeding ticket can affect insurance rates more than a DUI. Not sure why but my rate wasn't too bad.
