I seriously doubt it will get plead down.

Considering she was "super drunk" and from what I have heard they aren't messing around with that charge. She was over double the limit...not a little drunk :shake:

Really everyone's previous experience should give you and idea, but since the new charge just started recently I doubt any of them have been charged with the enhanced charge.
 
Just like driver responsibility fees, this is just an additional tax. No one says, "whoa, I'm Super Drunk! I better wait until I'm just drunk.'. As a non to little drinker, I don't feel sorry for drunk drivers, but I just don't see this working.

Nothing works on making people not make bad choices. This law will just put the state in more debt cause most people can't afford to pay it. They will just take the jail time an an say "take my license cause guess what I'll still drive!!"
The tying that pisses me off most is in PH 90% of the ppl that work for some part of law enforcment or are buddies with certain people don't have to follow this TAX as u correrctly put it. It's just a money scam an that's all it's about is money.

Just like the driver responsibility tax, you actually paying for crime 2 times! Not just one like your are supposed to but twice! Oh an if you count the sentencing the judge gives you, it's 3 separate times u payed for your 1 mistake.
How can they charge u 3 separate times for the same crime u committed once? Oh yea thank Cuntholm for that.
U should pay everything once when you see the judge for sentencing he/she should determin what you fines,fees an penalties should be no one else. After a person goes through the courts cause they have to, you can't take the speed lane lol, it should be done. IMO anyways, but not in the great state of Michigan, they wanna charge u with taxes lol.
 
Either way they're gonna nail you with fee's. Either you pay the drivers responsibility fee once per year for 2 years or they just double it and you pay it once. It's stupid if you ask me.

Yeah even if she wasn't 3x the legal limit, getting plead down to reckless is very rare unless you have serious cash. Like, celebrity/athlete cash.

Or you wanna SNITCH! Lol yea an reckless driving is still a felony misdameaner an 6 points lol but I geuss if I had to pic a wreckless is were Id go. Being a OWI I only seen them lower those to impaired driving an they were .11,.09,.12 bac levels an the judge was still kinda wanted to hammer them! They were female an it was there very first traffic offense to. Or maybe the Jugde platzer got laid the night before cause she let them lower my drag racing to a 10 over, but know one really knows, just get a wad of cash an hope for the best!
 
where were you when she got this hammered? id have wanted to be there for her if it was me. perfect bac to try and piihb.....

Rare, yes but doable. I wouldn't say celebrity/athlete, but as I said a lawyer that is willing to use some political capital for some cash then yes.
 
Novi is especially hard on drunk drivers. I've heard of probations where you have to stay the weekend at a hotel and take classes. If she was closer to a .10 she could expect somewhat of a break. Almost 3x the limit though? That's going to be a pain in the ass and very expensive.
