Since I recently added a chinchilla to my zoo I have to keep her room at a lower temp as they can not tolerate high temps and will die. I have a separate AC window unit in the room I keep her, with the high temps I am concerned about brown outs or black outs as the summer goes on or just straight outages.
I also feed my dog raw and have a stand up freezer packed full of meat that I would hate to loose in the event of an outage for an extended period.
I need to know what size generator I would need to run an AC unit 5000 BTU, the freezer at a minimum. I know absolutely nothing about generators
