find a mint condition 1990 dodge spirit es turbo. what a sexy automobile and about $12,000 under your budget
You are not allowed to post in ANY threads Imake that have to do with cars.

And yes, I know about that car. I used to know a girl in HS who used to have one. I beat the ever-living piss out of it.

I have a 2000 Lexus GS 300, its black with 96k miles but don't let mileage scare you on these. They go 300k with relatively no problems.

I'll bring it by later if you want to check it out.

The new impalas are nice.
The brand new ones are nice, but out of my price range. The last Imps (the ones prior to the new 303hp model) are awful...IMO.

Well I have an 05 monte and I must say its one of the best cars I have had for a daily driver.

How much are you looking to get out of it? Color, shape, overall cond? There's a Black one in Burton, MI with less than 73K on the clock.

BMW 328i say silver... 2000
 Thanks, but no thanks. 328 is way too small for my liking and the mileage is way up there too. But thanks.

Sorry. I wasn't talking about reliablity, I was talking about the car's overall curb appeal...as far as my eye is concerned, anyway.

Did you sell your explorer yet?
No, that's why I'm on a bit of a fact-fiding mission right now. But I am probably going to actually list it in AutoTrader and/or Ebay next week.

what about a 2000 or so sts?
Nice looking cars, but man do those Northstar (and all Cadillac repairs for that matter) scare the hell out of me. I like the DTS's even more, but because it's a Cadillac, I have the same concerns.

I also went through this 2 months ago.
I wanted a GXP (Bonneville or Grand Prix) but they were to much $$$.
I bought A 2001 Bonneville SSEi and love it. I have two kids (2 1/2 and 4 months) and there is plenty of room and the trunk fits a double stroller. I just started with mods and bought a 3.4 pulley (not installed waiting on shipping). It get great mpg (18 city 26 hwy) and is a big fun car to drive plus FWD so good in the winter. The wife likes it too!!

i have a 94 eldorado with the northstar, never had a problem, and its a blast to drive.:icon_mrgr although ive always liked the late 90s 5 and 7 series bmw's.

I just looked into them. They are too "wagon-like" for my tastes. :(

Agreed...but see post #4.

True driving it in the winter would suck both ways as drvining as soon to be classic and a 350 rwd in the winter.

I hate recommending a non Big3 car, but....Lexus IS300. RWD, Inline 6....they are fun! My buddy has one, and it is fun to drive, and the quality is high. I have yet to drive a car that just feels so tight and well designed as an IS series.

Check out left over Fusions and Milans. They would be brand new with good financing and I will give you my friends and family discount. My cousin got a V6 fusion for around that. (sticker minus a-plan minus rebates) Plus you would get 0% financing and not the current 4.9% plus crap that's out there right now. Put a set of wheels with your sound system and that would be a pimpin ride..

BTW check out used Lincoln LS's. Buck cheap for the options and money..

HAHAH Al,

Actually the reason why I had the problems I had with my car was because I was always half assing it or never got the tune I needed or didnt wanna spend 2,500 on a IC but after going threw all the BS im finally doing everything right.

My opinion if you wanna have fun is get a nice 4 door grandprix gt (get a nice one with about 50,000k) go to zzp give them 2,500-3k get a turbo (that includes install and everything u need) and you will go 12.9 on street tream (no race guys, weight reduction,) with only like 6pounds of boost and you will prob only spent 6,500-8k on the car and 2,500-3k in mods and you can beat alot of cars :p

Also ZRS_S10 has a grand gtp for sale in freaking SUPERB shape you may wanna give him a holla!

And just for the record you can cut 13.5 for about $600-700 bucks :)
