I went and looked at it yesterday before you got there. A hour and a half drive for me. I passed though because the shock towers were starting to rust and the firewall and floors had been bashed in for clearance. Don't know why unless someone had a huge motor in there and wanted room to work. Good Luck it is a good project. :cheers:

My 79 is on the trailer right now. Getting up at 3 to take it to Cleveland then going to Pennsylvania to pick up some spray tanks for work . Gonna be a long day. All turnpike driving so it should be cake.

are u talking about the same car? i didnt see them bashed in.. wonder if the noise in the front is the shock towers and not ball joints.
 
mine was like that on the pass side,with the carpet out i hammered it back out,no biggie you building a race car or a show car?

the car was not advertised to be perfect-its a race car not a show car-i did the fuel system and prettymuch the rest of it with a lot of help from all of our friends that have real fast mustangs so we can assure you that it will run a solid low 12 second pass with only changing the gear to a 373 or a 4.10. this is to scott 147-you cant build a car like this or for that matter buy one like it turnkey 12 second for$2900 give the kid a break let him enjoy it for a minute,btw dont talk shit just because you think your the car guy-you dont have anything fast so dont waste your time. this in n case you do want to respond to that-734-558-3287 bigwheelin bubba is right,i live right next to where he seen the car so if anyone else wants to bash this kids new car please feel free to knock on my door or call the number above instead of being a bitch sitting at a laptop benchracing!.
 
I had no idea it was For Sale either.....car looks pretty bad ass in person...drove by it 100 times drooling......damn i miss mine!
