Foxbody hydroboost question

I'm thinking about doing this for my foxbody and have a question about pumps. I've read keeping the stock fox power steering pump is fine but my question is:

If the pump (with attached reservoir) is located lower than the height of the booster, what keeps the fluid from draining back and overflowing the reservoir when the engine is off?

I'm going to put AC back in the car so the stock power steering pump is located pretty low.

Also, anybody have a 99-04 hydroboost unit locally?
 
I think they've got a check valve in them to keep the unit full. So draining down to the pump and over filling the reservoir shouldn't be an issue. But depending on your needs I'd consider a vac pump like derby posted. They're pretty common anymore.
 
The problem with keeping the vacuum booster is space.

If there is a check valve is it in the hydroboost unit itself? In a typical hydroboost car, the remote reservoir is the highest point of the system.

as far as I know, yes, there is a check valve in the hydroboost assembly

have never seen drainback, and all/most trucks that run one, the pump is lower

It does appear there is a check valve somewhere but I can't find proof of where exactly.

Yesterday I received my "like new, great condition,low mileage" hydroboost stuff from Ebay. I got scammed. The booster is already leaking out of the front and back pushrods and they aren't willing to do anything. Oh well, live and learn. At least I have a core to exchange now.

So now I've gotta find one locally. Anyone have an autozone discount code that works for in-store? They seem to be the only ones that have one in stock (Livonia store)
