Fox body front coil removal?

So I have almost everything to put my tubular k member and coil overs but I can't figure out how to compress the springs none of the coil spring compressors at the parts stores work and I can't do the hold it up with the jack and unbolt it because there is no weight on the front of the car the springs where on full droop when it was on the ground. What should I do?

did u drop the strut .i undid mine and pushed the spring out with a pole . well it shot out like a bad out of hell so be carefull

Remove the strut bolts/nuts at the top and then jack the car up, that will unload the springs and it'll be all good in the hood (depending where you live, lol). After that you can drop the k-member with them still in-they mount to the member and the arms-not the frame so they'll still be kinda held in. If it's already jacked up-just put a jack under the arm first.
What you do from there is your call, if you wanna keep them you can take them out easily once you get the member out, just take off the strut and spindle, loosen the lower arm inner bolts and pry them out. Once the inner arm bolts are loose, the arm will swing pretty easy so there won't be much spring pressure to worry about. If you don't want the assembly-just put it out at the road on garbage night early and a scrapper will take the whole thing. If you're still concerned-put a chain through the springs.

The issue is if I try to pry them up with a jack the whole car picks up there very firm springs my worry is if I do that when I unbolt the strut there going to shoot the car off of the stands

I doubt they're as firm as you think, they only seem stiff because the engine is out. But you don't need to jack it up-just have a jack under there in case. Personally, I wouldn't have a jack, but you seem more cautious than me, lol.
Okay, here's a surefire way to do it while also being safe. Put a jack under the front k-member, remove the stands and drop the car till it's on the ground or the jack is fully down, then loosen the strut bolts at the top and jack the car up.

I like that way I'm not using any of the stock suspension parts who cares if they get banged up. And yes I'm extremely cautious I've heard horror stories of people losing limbs and dieing from them and it's got me a little leery lol

I've heard of people getting hurt/killed as well but as long as you use common sense it's not dangerous. I've just done so many that it doesn't scare me even a little anymore, I did all 4 lowering springs on my '91 in about an hour, lol. It's probably easiest if you do this with the wheels on, that way you can roll it around when you're done, Good luck.

we just took off my buddies last night . we put the front of the car on stands . jacked up one side at a time . unbolted the strut dropped the jack and pushed it out with a 2x4 . popped out . also we put a garbage can in front of the spring so it didnt hit anything . took less then a hour for both
