do you work at a ford dealer if so try & help him out
No I don't, I'm simply a "good consumer". I fight for the best value
for every dollar I spend. If I feel I received a poor value for my purchase,
I will petition the company to "make things right".
You would be amazed at how many companies will work to replace / repair /
refund an item - that was NOT under a warranty or guarantee.
Last year I complained to Michelin about a set of top-of-the-line tires that
were 4 years old that were "dry rotted". Tires had only had 4,000 miles
on them. There was no warranty on them after 4 years. I complained that
the tires should not have been in that condition after only for years.
Michelin agreed & replaced the tires covering 70% of the cost. I then bought
the replacement tires through Discount tire.
"You have not because you ask not" is a good rule to hold.
