Ford Door Piece needed

I need this stupid plastic cover that goes over where the latch attaches. Like every five times I close my door it spins and then wont close because its so worn. I'm sure someone has something laying around. Can't be that different than any ford probably 1990 and up but its a 96 Grand Marquis. If no one has it I'm sure I could just head up to the hardware store and find something that would work.

$13. village ford shows (2) in stock. can't say what they'll want for it. prolly needs an upper door hinge though. that's what kills the bushing on the door striker...:cheers:

Its needed upper hinges on both front doors since I bought the car from my Grandpa 4ish years ago. By the looks of it the hinges are bolted on from the inside of the car before the dash goes in. WAY more work than I want to do on a car that is worth $800-1000. Thanks for the tip though! I'll see where village ford is located.
