This is my daily driver so mileage will go up - I drive 50 miles round trip to/from work every day, FYI.
2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo "E" 4x4
Stone White
Gray cloth interior
Power sunroof
Trailer/tow package (Rear load leveling suspension, full size spare tire/wheel, class IV receiver hitch with 7 and 4 pin wiring harness)
Miles: ~53,750
Price: $22,500 - Just under $22,000 was good condition and just over $22,500 was very good. I'll include the few extras I have with the price of $22,500
Info: I've owned the car since about 23k miles. I bought it from Southfield Chrysler with a clean CarFax. I'm selling it because I want something a little less expensive. I bought it about 6 months before my son was born, and I wasn't sure exactly how much extra space I would be needing with the little dude. Turns out the Jeep holds all of our stuff and then some, and I just don't need all of the space. I drive from Rochester Hills to Detroit for work every day, so I'm probably going to pick up something smaller and with better gas mileage. If I need more space, I'll just get a roof rack for the two weeks we go up north a year. Otherwise around town I just don't have the need for all of it right now. Compound this with the cost of daycare and I can use an extra $100 a month by going to something less expensive/smaller.
For the $22,500 price I'll include all of the Mopar all weather slush mats. I have the two for the front, the long one for the second row as well as the big one for the cargo area. They ones for the foot areas are convenient in the winter and rain, but the cargo area one has been outstanding. I haven't hauled or towed anything major, but even just getting a couple of bags of dirt from the store wasn't an issue to clean up after with the rubber mat for the back.
The two front windows were tinted to match the rear factory tint. Obviously this can come off if the buyer chooses to do so.
The good:
It's been 100% reliable for me
Chrysler Certified Warranty (7 year / 100k mile powertrain)
4WD was outstanding this past winter
New tires as of about 8,000 miles ago (Firestone Destination LE2)
Alignment done at time of tires
I had the right front strut warrantied when I picked it up. Nothing major - the strut was leaking so they replaced it.
Had it inspected by an independent mechanic when I purchased it and had it looked at again when the tires were put on. Front end is tight, brakes were good, etc. etc.
The bad:
Right rear door lock has to be manually locked/unlocked right now, for no other reason than I've been too lazy to fix it since it hasn't been a huge issue for me. The plastic gear that moves the lock pin is stripped. In reading online the part is cheap and it takes about 30 minutes to do. I read someone was quoted 1.5 hours at a dealership (which isn't surprising) as an FYI, but I'm assuming this has more to do with removing the door panel and 'book time' than anything.
Pictures: I need to clean it up and get some new pictures.
