Ford Cams

A friend of mine has a set of windsor heads that have been redone and they are ported very heavily if you're interested. They would work very well with a nice solid flat tappet cam and a victor jr.
 
Victor jr. intake. He also has a brand new never used air gap intake with some port work that he got from me. I bought the intake brand new and had it opened up to a 1250 gasket. I had around $320 bucks into it.

Air gap intake for 302 part num 7521 with port work new never used $200
Windsor heads fully ported, bowls are all smoothed out. larger valves ready to go. $350 firm
 
By the way, if i were to swap out the heads/cam/intake with the motor in the truck, how long do you think it would take me with basic car knowledge?
 
That intake and those heads with a nice solid flat tappet cam would make for a nice strong running street motor!! Hope I could help ya' out a bit...

both are good for 1500-6500 rpm's

With basic knowledge?......a little while. There are certain little things you need to know when reassembling it. Proper torque sequencing of the heads and intake, care when installing the cam and lifters(degreeing the cam also), etc......

Not to bad but more suited for efi in my opinion. I had great results with a nice solid flat tappet. They're not to expensive when compared to roller setups. You wouldn't need to buy expensive tie bar lifters to work with an early block.
 
Also, if and when you break it in with the flat lifters, make sure to use a zinc additive in your oil, or some racing oil with it already in it. It really ruins your day if you dont....:punchball:
