I was wondering if those 303 cams ex; b-303 cam, would work with a 289?

If so what one would work good with it?

Oh i see, what would be a good head/cam/intake setup with this motor?

Its sorta hard to figure out, if you can help.

:stupid: id do the same thing. or if you can get ahold of some 65 289 heads the smaller chamber will bump compression up a little for you. id run a performer rpm intake and a holley 600 carb. you can always juice it for some more fun

And also with the '65 289 heads they have a heart shaped combustion chambers which helps flame travel. I had a set with lots of hours worth of porting and they ran real well on a 306 11.20's on motor, little slower on my 351,

No i dont got any other heads i thought of.

Right now i have a holley 600cfm and a edelbrock intake, but idk what type of intake it is, it only says edelbrock on it. not performer or rpm or anything else

Any part numbers stamped on the intake at all? If so post them and it could be figured out what intake it is.

Oh wow lol, well im planning on getting a different intake anyways, but with those heads you were talking about, would i be able to rev higher than 4k?

I ask that because the stock 289 heads arent meant for more than 4400rpms and i think its sorta discouraging the way it does that lol.
