The Dearborn guys are great and props go out to Rickety and Matt Reese but they are out of my price range. I would go with them if I could.
I got my stuff done at a small shop who did a great job.
I don't know anybody who specializes in late model Ford but this guy
does nice machine work. P.M. if you would like a referral.
He won't talk to anybody without a name drop.
Best Machine in Warren. Very good shop. A few members here had work done by them. I had my block machined by them. looks goooood![]()
GOOD, FAST, CHEAP..........Pick any 2!!!
Quick, who does your machine work?
I didn't mention any of those three..
I typically have a Kinetic do my stuff, but Holbrook has a better machine for decking the block. I like kinetic because I know them, and they make sure everything is exactly the way you want it. If I tell them to dust a few 10-thousandths (.000X") out of a rod or lifter bore thats what they do. I have seen guys ask for a few 10-thousandths and the shop took .001-.0015". Also, another reason I like them is they do mostly high RPM stuff, so they know that when I say its going to ~8000RPM, their machining needs to be on or we'll have a time-bomb on our hands.
As for my comment about, good, cheep, fast. This wasn't in reference to what you asked, it was just a general statement about the aftermarket industry and basically the world as a whole.
give aa machine shopii a call they do good work andThe Dearborn guys are great and props go out to Rickety and Matt Reese but they are out of my price range. I would go with them if I could.
