Ford block machining and assembly

I'm getting ready for next season and I'm looking to get a new boss block and a pro line rotating assembly. Problem is I don't know where to go for machining and assembly. It should be a 1000 hp turbo motor under 20 psi so I'm looking for shop with good credibility.
TIA

If you're looking for a shop that has good credibility, they may all be out of
your price range. I wouldn't roll the dice. You're paying for the knowledge.

You're paying for the knowledge.

Am I? Large race shops have high operating costs, high turn over rates and most of the time are in high demand. Things get lost in the high demand and quality goes down. I'm not pointing fingers but there's alot of knowledge outside of race shops. There's a couple small machine shops that I know of that build for NMCA and NMRA cars that are only word of mouth. Why? Because they have enough work to keep their quality high.

I got my stuff done at a small shop who did a great job.
I don't know anybody who specializes in late model Ford but this guy
does nice machine work. P.M. if you would like a referral.
He won't talk to anybody without a name drop.

The Dearborn guys are great and props go out to Rickety and Matt Reese but they are out of my price range. I would go with them if I could.

Well good luck to you then! I'll talk to a few of my buddys and see if they have anyone to recomend besides livernois.

I understand wanting a place with excellent crediablity, my dad got burned from a company, not to bad but it still was not cool.

Best Machine in Warren. Very good shop. A few members here had work done by them. I had my block machined by them. looks goooood :)

I've had best do two blocks for me and haven't had any issues. Turn around time is painfully slow.

With that said I have no idea of the issues Wheelz had with them. I've heard of issues with almost any local shop from one person or another though.

Thanks to everyone that sent pm's on quality places.

I'm leaning towards PARE but I need to check it out and leave a deposit.

Quick, who does your machine work?

I didn't mention any of those three..

I typically have a Kinetic do my stuff, but Holbrook has a better machine for decking the block. I like kinetic because I know them, and they make sure everything is exactly the way you want it. If I tell them to dust a few 10-thousandths (.000X") out of a rod or lifter bore thats what they do. I have seen guys ask for a few 10-thousandths and the shop took .001-.0015". Also, another reason I like them is they do mostly high RPM stuff, so they know that when I say its going to ~8000RPM, their machining needs to be on or we'll have a time-bomb on our hands.

As for my comment about, good, cheep, fast. This wasn't in reference to what you asked, it was just a general statement about the aftermarket industry and basically the world as a whole.
