? For Workout Guru's

Ugh I need to cut this winter =/

youll need a couple winters for you to cut, lol.

i used gnc XXX, i dont really see it helping out a lot, im going to go to my old method of just drinking protein shakes and eating a lot.

the begining of this year i weighed 135-140ish pounds, im a few pounds short of 170 now. and i took a month or two off here and there. just have to eat a lot to put the weight on, i dont like buying a bunch of supplements because there is so much bullshit out there i dont know what to trust

Try to keep your carb and protein intake high while cosuming low(er) fat foods. If you train hard you will be burning alot of calories and you will need alot of carbs for energy to fuel your workouts. I ate alot of eggwhites and tuna for protein. Shakes are good as well as long as you get a good brand. I had great results using ABB and Musletech supplements. Nitrotech worked well for protein but I tried to stick with cans of tuna and/or chicken or steak. Try to keep at it for 6 months on and 1 week off if you can. Try not to take more than a week off at a time. Time off is a good thing but too much can put your gains behind.

I eat those cans of chicken like they are going out of style . The wife and kids hate the smell though . haha Lots of protein in a can and I get the big ones on sale for $ 1.25

Yeah they are a better choice from a price perspective and I think its better protein anyway. I must say PBJ's are an easy thing for protein and carbs too. I always like to down them with a big glass of 2% milk before I hit the gym.

better be like TWO hours before the gym. remember ALL that food needs to digested...so the blood used to carry nutrients to the muscle while training goes to your intestines and stomach. ESPECIALLY when eating a high fat food (PB) with slow digested carbs (refined sugar)...not the best choice

Because I am a scrawny little guy!!!!:thefinger

The scrawniest guys in the UFC are the most exciting fights. Those 155-165 pound fighters can FIGHT! Size is nothing. Look at Frank Mir vs. Brock Lesnar or Randy Couture vs. Tim Sylvia

......the bigger they are....the harder they fall......

Thanks again for all the comments. I know i need to be eating more. My schedule is usually very busy and I dont always have time to eat correctly.
Besides Tuna, Chicken, PB&J, are their any fast and easy things to chow down that dont have alot of prep time?
