if I had to choose a lsx engine whats the best pick . for the price ? the height and length have to be the shortest i can get.
i dont realy care if its a 4.8-5.3-6.0-6.2

They are all pretty much the same block. You can get it in Aluminum or Iron with a bunch of different bore sizes. The iron blocks have a little more flexibility, but you pick up about 80 lbs.

for a rockcrawler, I'd go 6.0L for the torque, and if you need it shorter, you can mix and match oil pan/intakes(LS2 vette oil pan and the LS1 f-body oil pan are the shortest factory wet sump pans , the car intake is shortest)
I know they are all the pretty much the same size weight close beside the truck engine is bigger , so what i'm asking is what is the best intake for the buck ?and out of all lsx which 1 make the most hp for the price ?
