fitness people- who is still making progress?

Here an there. Can't drop lbs but the mirror tells me I'm getting a tad bigger and slightly leaner. Who knows. Drastic diet starts 1 week after next Thursday...


maybe if u stop overtraining , u will see better results. it seems that everytime i see u post a workout its way over killlll :shutup:
 
Just checking in to see who is making progress? I have had some good gains in the past few months...sittin at 206pds 6.9% BF at the staggering height of 5'5"......

206??? You look bulkier than that man! Its obvious you train hard.
As far as being short, theres nothing you can do about it LOL! I'm 5'7'' and 165-170lbs. You can't go up but you can go out...:thumbsup:
 
i put about 10 lbs this winter and kept lean , im around 6.5 % bf :thumbsup:

6.5%! You must be shredded! Damn!

I'm still making progress trying to lighten up. Strength is still good. Being older (45) I sure don't have to/can't lift as often. The soreness cycle is longer. I'm still in a slow groove to improvement though. Good workout today!
 
when i met my wife i was 180..that woman could cook lemme tell you so i gained some weight..i went to 220 and was there for a couple years..

when she got sick at christmas time i gained al ot of weight..she was in the hospital for almost 4 month straight..i dint fdo anyhting but sit around and eat...went to 260..i wanted to bulk up anyway then work my ass off to get ripped up..well she died and i lost all motivation,.

so then i was 260 pounds with stretch marks and no motivation or care to loose weight..

since then ive lost 20 pounds just eating better and moving around..im gonna get that p90X course and have at it..starting that course at 240..omg im gonna be a monster hahah
 
BTW, I did end up getting up early this morning to do my cardio. Got up @ 5:15am, brushed the teeth and headed out on the bike and knocked out 6+ miles in less than 30 mins. Gonna hit it again after work today and hopefully every morning from here on out...

.... 6.9% body fat????? is that what BF stands for... if so... at 5'5 and 206... you must look like a valley of veins... theres no way you can be 206 at 5'5" and have 6.9% body fat without being a bodybuilder on Show day.....


this is not a diss or anything just wondering how so low bf percentage......

Seriously.

How he diets the way he does I'll never know. Dom is a freak but at the same time VERY knowledgeable. I take EVERYTHING he says re: bodybuilding and nutrition as truth. If he told me to eat dog shit I would. Well...maybe not...but maybe. :lol:

ACTUALLY.....as of today iam 218 but about 10.6% BF. (I was dieting with the wife when she did the Michigan championships) Iam making a serious move to the lightheavies (North American BB-ing championships next fall) That vid is a few years old too...it really isnt my best conditioning either. I dropped to much water the last few days and kinds smoothed over...I am not really all that "big" per say...i look like I train but Iam FAR from being big. NOT being modest or anything just telling the truth. I carry a lot of weight in my quads and back but I really have shitty arms. Yeah...I have been at this a LONG time so dieting to me is second natural.
