fitness people- who is still making progress?

For the last month or so, my schedule has been crazy. It's like my body can't get enough sleep. It's been go to work, come home, sleep, go to work. I work midnights and have a really physical job. That's the one thing that saves me from my terrible diet. I've already planned my new diet and have started transitioning over to it. Going full into it and my new extremely regimented daily schedule as soon as I get over this terrible head cold and cough I have. I plan to sleep for 8 hours each day (10am to 6 pm), getting up doing my usual daily crap, and then working out. Hopefully with me doing this I can get back down to the weight I was last summer, just with a little more musculature.

Put on about another 5lbs while trimming down in the waist some. Defiantly filling in and looking much better.

Still going for about another 5-10lbs of muscle and slimming down a tab bit more.

201-202 to 193-194. I did nothing but ate smaller lunches and smaller dinners. Still might have 3 pops over the 7 day week and I still drink beer on the weekends. I'm done with school in 4 weeks roughly. That's when I should start actually getting serious.

i started at the end of march, 185 pounds 6'4." I'm now at 198 pounds. My goal is to hit 230 by the end of august, but its probably not gonna happen. im too busy to really focus on it and i havent been getting enough necessary sleep lately. my diet is perfect though, eating a ton of good food.

3rd baby came, 2.5 years of hard work wasted. Haven't lifted since June of last year. Tried, but felt guilty working 10 hours then going to the gym. Maybe next year.

When the new car gets done and you take it out let me know. I'll make sure I get some good pictures to motivate you! :D

I am getting frustrated.

I've gained alittle weight back, but started eating strict again so the weight should drop back down. If I can get back to 190lbs with just a proper diet Ill be happy.

for anyone trying to lose weight and get their "figure" back, I always suggest mountain biking. Last summer i damn near had an 8 pack and i didnt even do ab workouts, its just a really good (and fun) excercise that cuts fat very effectively. I would notice a difference in the mirror immediately after a ride. It is good at tightening up your mid section because you use your back muscles alot climbing hills, and just from the riding position in general.

This year im trying to bulk up and with no place to ride im struggling to keep the beer gut off.

Went from 131Lbs to a high of 174ish last year, started working 90+ hours a week and just couldn't keep lifting. Sitting back down in the high 140's now. Grrr.

I have been kicking around the idea of buying a bike.
That pretty much seals it, never would have thought of biking a a core exercise, but it makes sense now.

Thanks

i do "sometimes" but I dont live on em. I prefer Yohimbe as my fat burner or any product containing it.

Today I looked in the mirror and realized, I could stand to lose a few pounds.
I'm going to make my goal weight 200 lbs. To start, I'm cutting out having the dog fetch my drinks... time to start getting up and walking to the fridge... well.... at least every other time.

I'm loving my mountain bike. I only took it out on some trails once at stoney but I've been pedalling all over the neighborhood and on the metro parkway bike path.

I've lost 40 lbs since mid February as of yesterday...20-30lbs left, though :(

I'm embarassed to post my actual weight numbers...I was really overweight :(

Finally feeling better. Think I am going to bike to the rec center later and do some laps in the pool. I really miss swimming.

Nothing to be embarrased about. 40lbs is a great accomplishment. Keep at it!

As for me...193.3 this morning. I brought carrots, yogurt and a sandwich for lunch.
