For background, I was running a stock block/cube/crank/head ls1 with 20 lbs of boost and it saw 8k+ rpm's all day on stock oil setup besides an upgraded oil pump.
My last pass it spit the number 2 rod out of the block and the number 1 had already started to loosen up the rod bolts (or stretch I guess).
The rod journals near the back of the block (ones that get oil first) looked much better than the ones up front but they still seemed pretty worn.
