Finally ran the bone stock '16 Challenger Hellcat

Exactly what he said. I recently got my first set on the car and omg what a difference.
There is also a down side to the added traction if your suspension is not set up right you could get wheel hop, ignore wheel hop to long and your rear end, trans and other things will start breaking.

^^^I went to that Dodge forum and looked up the mods list on that purple monster. Didn't seem to take much to get deep into the 9's. Incredible!

For most cars they make all the difference in the world. I.E. you go from very little traction to great traction. They need to be clean and have a little heat in them.

Ah, I see...thanks. I've run Hoosier and BFG road racing tires at open track events, and they make a significant difference (IMO) but never DRs at the strip...only slicks once just for the hell of it MANY moons ago.

Hellcats (both Charger and Challenger) never cease to amaze me. It's a good time for horsepower/late model hot rodding...if you can afford it.

Almost sounds like you are leaving right of idle? Are you rolling on the power or planting the pedal? Hooked with no drama. Nice

Yeah on a good track the fast guys say you can just mash it and you'll go 1.52-1.54 60 ft. I tried that a couple times and just spun so I walked it out a split second and then hammered it.

Great run! You should have made the trek out to US-131 yesterday, track had teeth all day. Great air too, DA was about 900-1000. I was surprised to not have seen a single Hellcat while I was there.
