Finally ran the bone stock '16 Challenger Hellcat

1.54 at Lapeer?! Wow! Wish I had gone there instead of work.

It could be possible that that 60ft. but man how is that stock driveshaft holding up?

If it's legit then that would be the fastest around but I'm skeptical of two things: 1) it's truly stock (if that mph is legit, that's higher than I've ever seen a stock car run - see point 2), 2) Lapeer factor.

Lapeer mph has always been 2-3mph high. I've proven it by doing back to back track days at Lapeer/ubly and Lapeer/milan. Times were always consistent though.

This is exactly correct. I've done the same at Lapeer/Milan. ET is consistent but MPH is 2-3 higher at Lapeer.

It's happened I was there yesterday with my charger and track prep was not even that great. You guys tend to forget on a 40 degree day cars run really good my charger trapped 116/117 yesterday.

I just remember being bummed at every track me and my pops went to after Lapeer because went went 11.50s at like 118-119 in his red Camaro and then proceeded to go 11.80-11.90 at 115 at Milan, Norwalk, and US131 all within the same year with no changes to the car. Maybe the track has changed and my skepticism is based on old facts but that was my experience. Couple that with the fact that there's a ton of guys chasing the stock record running at killer tracks in killer air and most struggle to even get into the 10.6x's doesn't make it any easier to believe.

But in a 40 degree day isn't the track and tires colder and harder and less sticky? Just asking out of true curiosity.

I always thought hooking at Lapper wasn't the problem - seemed to hook well when I used to go up there. You just have to get around the bumps in the shutdown and the dirt pits. If you can get a good burnout and get a hot tire, it will hook.

The forum guys said this car has 3.09s. I believe the slip given that but everything I've been quoting is drag radial only. Still crazy how fast these cars can go with little to no mods.
