Hey guys I have a lifted 99 charokee xj 4.0 , in great shape, body is very clean and only has a couple spots where the paint is bubbling and one small spot on the corner of the fender that a lil rusty but overall it's in great shape. It's has 30x9.5x15 on sweet aluminum wheels, it has a 3 or 4'' suspension lift, the 4x4 works great as it should. No problems with the trans.
The bad
A week ago I started her up to warm up in the morning and when I went out she wasn't running any longer, don't know what happens , when I try to start it she sputters a lil bit but just doesn't start! It has around 165k give or take a couple miles , been messing with it for a week now and don't wanna mess with it anymore!!!
The 2 rear doors won't open , I understand it's a simple fix , remove the door panels and work the linkage with some lubricating spray or lithium Grease . The drivers side mirror is cracked and the power mirror adjust controller isn't working, never looked into it , figured I would start fixing all the stuff once the weather got warmer.
The rear hatch is the same thing won't open but again simply remove the Panel and adjust the rod that unlatches the hatch, I was planning on getting to these lil fixes but never did.
The wheel flares are off the jeep cause the fronts where rubbing or hitting the new tires which are in great shape, I have the flares or molding whatever you want to call them.
I got the jeep less than. Month ago and everything was fine , it could be an easy fix or not so it's sold as is. I looked into an engine for it (in The worst case scenario) and they are readily available for around 400 but like I said I'm no mechanic and wouldn't want to or know what would be involved in an engine swap in this thing so I really don't know what's wrong with it and no longer care to be honest with you. I paid $2,500.00 for it so I am entertaining offers of cash or trades, looking for a notch roller or a nice jeep wrangler ( would add cash for the right deal), let me know what you have. cash is king lol Send me an email or a phone number and I can send some pics , can't load them on here for some reason.
