I thought the Parthenon was alright. I live in Ann Arbor and have ate there twice, their food didn't impress me at all.

My favorites are, Casey's in Ann Arbor, The Pizza House in Ann Arbor, for Chicago style deep dish (plus they are open till 4 am ftw!), Connor Oneill's in Ann Arbor, J. Alexanders, Side Track in Depot Town Ypsilanti, Argiero's in Kerrytown in Ann Arbor, and that is about it.

I'll second all of those, except Argiero's if it's the place I'm thinking of which was average but I only ate there once a while ago. Is it right across from Zingermann's Deli or in that general area?

Yep, that's the one. I have had only good food from there. It's been over a year since I have eaten there though.

Blue Nile on 9 Mile in Ferndale. Ethiopian food. And no, it's not a plate of crackers and powdered milk. ;) It's really good. A little bit like an Indian/Middle Eastern cross. Tastes incredible. Oh, and did I mention that it's all-you-can-eat? :rockwoot:

The Bastone on Main in Royal Oak. Fantastic rustic French/Belgian/continental food. The hangar steak is particularly good. We haven't had a bad meal there. They're also one of the best brewpubs around. :icon_drin

Cherry Blossom in Novi, in the shopping center in front of Riverwalk. Japanese/asian food.

Louis Pizza on John R in Hazel Park. Buddy's style deep dish pizza, only better.

Noble Fish on 14 Mile and Main in Clawson. Best sushi in this hemisphere(sorry Reiko;)).
