The restaurants I go to:

Burgers - Eastside Tavern (old speakeasy, basement of a house) on Avery(Harper) near S. River Rd. in Harrison Township/Mt Clemens.

Italian - Luigi's in Mt Clemens and Harrison Township. Brio's at Partridge Creek Mall on M-59

Mexican - Don Carlo's (think that's the name) on Gratiot and 14 mile

Sushi - Tokyo & Seoul BBQ on Mound near M-59

Steak - Logan's and also go to Caper's on Groesbeck north of Cass Ave

Coney - Jon's on 16 mile and Groesbeck. Not the best looking place and small but great food

General places I also go to: Applebee's, Brann's, Chili's, Firehouse Lounge on harper and 16 mile since I live close, Boston's Pizza

I've become such a huge fan of French onion soup because of my girlfriend and Boston's has a great soup, Firehouse Lounge too.

X2 OMFG :cheers::cheers::cheers::ty::ty:

for a cheaper best hotdog on earth the Dog Pit in Grand Rapids right around the corner from the Amway Grand.

BTW Amway Grand by far one of the best hotels I've stayed at!!!

I have never heard of the dog pit. For dogs in GR, I like Yesterdog and Ritz Coney Island (on Ionia St., bar district).

The Amway is very nice too. I am waiting to go to the new Marriot that went up in GR. It is supposed to be very nice.

Lotta people in this thread seem to go to mostly chain restaurants.

When I go out to eat I usually try to avoid chain restaurants. Some of my favorites are Vince's, Niki's, R.P. McMurphy's, Portofino, Miller's, Lafayette Coney Island and the Whitney.

A Blue Nile just opened up near me, so I'm gonna try that out some time based
on cASe SenSiTive's recommendation

Blue nile was really good. I was very surprised to say the least! Went the the A2 one.

Hamburg pub out here has the best burger I have ever had with the exception of Miller's.

J Alexander's pork with Boom Boom sauce is awsome. Plus I have a certain little hook up there.

lol this is still going.....do u guys live like by each other cause i see alot of the same restuarants from different people?...or is the food in the places really good?

For those on the far eastside.. The Raft's burgers are excellent.

I also realllllllly like P.F. Changs, The Bone Yard, Loui's Pizza (or however you spell it), Paparazzi in Lake Orion is cool too.
And... I can't forget about the Sahara and Cedarland.

Haggerty just north of 6 Mile in Northville I think would be the closest one for you.

There is one in Somerset Mall that I go to... and now they've opened one at Partridge Creek Mall. Sounds like a good excuse for me to visit that mall. I still haven't been.

Portofino is good too!

We bring the boat down there a lot during the summer!
