Are you looking at the Instant readout or are you actually calculating it? Is your ecoboost 2wd? 4wd? short box extended cab?
I wasn't looking for fuel economy, never said I was. Simply stating that it isn't very good. Just a fact.Eco-boost in the Sport isn't suppose to be for fuel economy. Get an Eco-boost Fusion if you want fuel economy, not a full size SUV with 365hp.
Ext cab 6.5' bed 4x4. And its avg not instant
Last 2 f150's, current focus, my moms flex..... All spot on
 The calculations arent always correct on those. Anthony says his is, but I've never seen one that is right. They are usually 2-3mpg off
Scooter, how hard were you driving it? I commonly see people getting around that and swear they drive it like and angel which i find kind of hard to believe.
Sidenote, I took a 100 mile round trip today and averaged 23.2 (completely unloaded)
That was towing 8000 lbs of enclosed trailer on surface streets to the track. Lots of stop and go. I typically get 16 in daily driving and 19-21 on pure highway trips depending on speed. There's a sweet spot around 60-65mph but ain't nobody got time fo dat.
My 2011 EB 4x4 with 40k miles on the clock gets 15mpg in town and 18-22mpg on the highway. I love it.
My commute to work is under 5 miles one way...and you couldn't pay me enough to drive a gas-sipping death trap, regardless of the distance. I bought the truck to drive it, not look at it.
Oh, I'll be the guy waving at you when you're stuck in the 6" snowfall as well.
