This years MIfbody dyno day is set for Saturday June 14th, once again it will be held at Jake's Automotive in Sterling Heights and we encourage everyone and their friends to be there. The event starts at 9am and will go until we dyno every car. Last year we went through approximately 25 cars so the event should go past 3pm. The cost will be $50 a car for 2 pulls and a dyno graph. The dyno is an in ground dynojet chasis dyno for 2wd cars whether it be rwd or fwd. Like previous years I will be taking prepayment for the first 10 people. This can be done via my paypal address [email protected] but please make sure you send me all your info so I know who the $ is coming from and add the 3% fee or you can gift the money if you feel comfortable doing so. Any questions or concerns will be addressed in this thread so feel free to post up.

Jake's address and maps for directions can be found on their website.

I'm always a sucker for a dyno day, especially with a new engine, but.......NMRA.

Brandon, if you do go to Norwalk look me up down there in the pits.

I'm in. What is the benefit of prepayment? You get on the dyno first?

The benefit is actually for me and the Jake's employees, because its easy for people to say they are coming and then to bail the day of so we typically want some cars to pre pay. Granted we normally get double+ what we have pre paid but this has been working well so why change a good thing.

If you'd like to go on early in the day its not a problem everyone is very relaxed and just lets me know when they would like to get on the rollers so its understandable if you have somewhere else to be later in the day ect.

I am also going to pay back the person that makes the most power this year so your dyno session will be free. Spread the word :)

Im hanging the new suspension under my f100 this weekend I would have to thrash to be in on this

when are you planning next one?

how long does the process take? can you squeeze in 2 cars an hour ? or 3?

I have planned one a year for the past few years, if it keeps going well and we had enough interest a fall event may also be a possibility but so far just annually.

I would say we probably average about 3 cars an hour, being a drive on dyno helps cut time a great deal. Last year we had around 25 cars and the event started at 9am and ended around 4:30pm. There is a party store walking distance from the shop and in the past we have ordered pizza or I have provided hot dogs.

Srry Jeff that I haven't chimed in at all, been busy. If anyone has questions about my dyno or anything regarding pricing and services, you can contact me direct. Can't wait for another eventful day!! I just might bring me and my brothers car out to put a whopping on you F-Body guys! Lol (so says the mustang owner)

thanks Tim, and make sure you bring that mustang and any other cars. I don't mind if you beat up on the f body guys hopefully it will strike a nerve and some of them will man up and bring their cars.

u must have a LS motor also a ?lol...what size ?

If we pre-register, are we confirming a time slot or is it first come first serve?

Anyone who pre pays I will make sure they have the chance to get their cars on first. So far we have 7 paid and only one has requested to go first so it shouldn't be a problem.
